Living Bridge HAMBURG

The Hamburg Living Bridge represents a new dimension in bridge-building. This will be the first time that a truly urban, bustling pedestrian-friendly bridge of these dimensions including green areas has been built across water. It will create a link between the Hamburg on this side of the Elbe River and the new Hamburg on the other side which is itself not just a road bridge but also an inhabited, lively city. With all that that entails: panoramic views across the Elbe for pedestrians; the dense atmosphere of a greened urban pedestrian zone sheltered from the wind; numerous cultural offers, tourist sights and thousands of affordable apartments right in the heart of the city.
